Universities and colleges in the USA offer three intakes, sometimes known as semesters.
They are:
| Fall | This intake starts in August and is most popular among Indian students. |
| Spring | This is the best option should you miss the Fall intake, and starts in January. |
| Summer | The Summer intake typically starts in May, however it is available only for a limited number of programmes. |
